As the Colombian pop sensation confirms a major concert in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, there are also suggestions that Shakira will come to Kazakhstan, albeit nothing as yet officially announced.
The popular Latin American singer has already agreed to perform at the new Bishkek Arena, as confirmed by Kanybek Tumambaev, Head of the Presidential Affairs Department in Kyrgyzstan, although the date is yet to be made public.
As for future concert dates, Shakira is believed to have said that she will perform ‘whenever, wherever’, adding that she just wants to be together, presumably with her many Kazakhstani fans, who are still buzzing after the appearance of another Spanish-speaking superstar, Enrique Iglesias.
“It will be la tortura if Shakira doesn’t come to Almaty,” said a fan from this very city. “I know that hips don’t lie, but social media can sometimes be misleading; let’s hope that these rumours are true and that it’s this time for Kazakhstan! Nothing else matters to me now.”
One local man also loves the idea.
“I have no objection, she is the one, and I think it’s inevitable that she will sell the venue out. If you have a spare ticket, please give it up to me, I’ll stand by you in the Central Stadium. Men in this town are already excited, as are all her admirers.”
He doesn’t claim to be a big Shakira fan, but would gladly try everything and tango to the concert, believing that this is another amazing win for his country, as more and more global superstars seem to be adding Kazakhstan to their bucket lists.
It’s all pure intuition, at the end of the day what more can I give, as so far Shakira has not fixed any concert date in Kazakhstan, but as this is a possibility, fans are already getting ready for the good times.
